About me

My name is Natashe Connor and I am a warm, caring and dedicated Counsellor and Psychotherapist, passionate about providing the highest quality of care.

I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Leeds Beckett University.  My training was integrative in nature, with a therapeutic model that incorporated theory from four broad approaches to talking therapy, these were the Person-Centred Approach, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Existential and Psychodynamic models, this means I am trained in a variety of therapeutic models that I integrate to meet client’s’ individual needs.

My work has included working for a number of counselling charities, I am currently counselling clients bereaved through COVID 19.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work to their standards and Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

I receive specialist mentoring by attending regular supervision in line with BACP guidelines.  This enhances the quality of the service I offer, whilst also ensuring my work meets professional standards, advances my learning and supports me to main resilience and fitness to practice.

I am passionate about continually improving my counselling skills and knowledge, so I read widely and regularly attend training courses and events.

I hold an enhanced DBS and am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, in order to maintain data confidentiality and I hold professional Liability Insurance.
